How do I maintain my progress and stay motivated?

We seek to provide tools to maintain healthy body weight and active lifestyle, through creating healthy habits and a routine they are able to stick to, long term! However, we understand that sometimes sports can be hard. We all face times when we don’t want to do something but, nonetheless, know we have to. To make sure you are keeping to these habits throughout your journey, there are a number of things you can do to stay on track and motivated.

  • Set goals. While filling the Reshape quiz, think about your desired weight goal carefully. When you set a goal, you make a decision to act in a way that will help you achieve what you desire. Goal gives you a direction to focus on – one that’s measurable and has an endpoint. If Reshape personalised program for you is longer than you expected, break down your big goal into few smaller ones. Write them down. They will be easily achievable what will motivate you even more.
  • Make your goal public. If you tell someone – or post in social media – your goal, you’ve absolutely made a promise to keep your word.
  • Track your progress. When you are working towards something it is really motivating if you can see evidence that you’re making progress. You will see that you’re coming closer to achieving the goal you’ve set yourself.
  • Reward yourself. Promise yourself some sort of reward each time you complete a workout or a healthy eating week.
  • Don’t do it alone. Invite a friend to join, a relative or someone you can share the experience with.
